Joss's Lie?

TV Guide makes mention today of Joss Whedon's comment about Spike moving to 'Angel", when asked about this last Thursday his response was "We have made no decision about that at all". Did Joss lie, did things change. In either event it would seem moot, since WB is plastering James all over the cast list. Plus, David Greenwalt even admits that Spike will be moving to Los Angeles (in an interview on Zap2It), although the Buffy finale might make that seem a bit 'problematic'.

I have seen stories which have Charisma Carpenter announcing that she is quitting the series, but I have not seen anything legit enough to post at this time.
