Spoiler Slayer

Although major spoilers have not cropped up in the past few days, little bits here and there continue to trickle in.

Writer Change

Although Marti Noxon indicated very early in the season that she would be writing Episode 21, janeespenson.com is reportings that she and Doug Petrie will co-write the penultimate episode. The title is reported to be 'End Of Days'.

This doesn't surprise me, as sharp-eyed regulars will note that I dropped the Marti Noxon spoiler for 21 from 'Nearly-Confirmed' to 'Possible'. Which begs the question, will Marti be writing any other episodes for the show? As of right now, I have a feeling the answer is no.

Final Hours

Buffy: There is an interview with Sarah Michelle Gellar in “Entertainment Weekly.” Plus, she has agreed to interview with Pat O’Brien of “Access Hollywood.” The Press is very interested in the series finale and there should be a lot of buzz.

Buffy: “the final hours” hinting that not only is it the final hours of the series, but there may be total death and destruction.

Although I'm sure there will be more than a bit of death and tragedy in the final episodes of the show, are they really going to go for an 'everyone dies' scenario? A little bit too 'Blake's Seven' for my taste.
