It's A Family Affair

ECH posted some new information on Episode 14 at Fan Forum.

I had to wait until I recieved secondary confirmation before posting this info, and today I finally got it. And, as it turns out Wood is the son of the slayer killed in NY by Spike. Spike brakes up the date between Buffy and Wood. And, later after the fight Buffy runs out ignoring Xander and Wood to check on Spike. And, they both check up on each other, and they look into each others eyes deeply, as written it is should be a very shippy scene of course it depends on the director, SMG, and if Joss makes and changes. The scene as written is intended to really show her true feelings for him despite herself. Also, there is one last B/S scene after that where Spike asks Buffy if he should leave town after learning that the First may have plans for him, but she doesn't want him to.

We don't know that yet, Wood doesn't even know Spike was the one that killed his mother yet, so we really don't know what will happen as yet, but you might be correct.

I have seen some reports that Wood is actually her brother and not son, but both are certainly possible. I would say with the previous info that we received, it was a pretty safe bet that Wood was going to have some kind of relationship with Nikki.

Also, just on a side note. I have seen a schedule of Buffy airdates floating around on some sites. At least by the info that I have currently, it's completely fabricated. Not only does the info in January go against what I've heard, but I doubt that they're going to skip an episode during Sweeps. They did last year, but that was more a question of the Olympics.
