December 14, 2002Location Shoot, Spoilers
Location Shoot The following location shoot was posted to the Alt.BTVS Usenet Group (thanks to Carrigon for the tip). It would seem that there was a location shoot for an attack on the Summer's home. Candee posted a recap of what she saw. I was roped into a taping of the James Van Praagh show with a friend, and she lives one street over from Buffy's house. Last night it had the wooden mailbox with Summers on it, and they were doing some last minute scenes for Episode 11 (Sound guy said they are on 7.12 at the mo, but these scenes needed to be reshot.)This could either be a precursor to the Location Shoot that we had a report about a while back, where Buffy and the others were on the streets of Sunnydale trying to avoid the Ubervamp (and Buffy ends up sending the others off while she stays to fight it). New Info On 10-12 There was some additional information that came out about Episode's 10-12 last night at FanForum, but I was respecting the source's request not to post them elsewhere. However, the source has now allowed these spoilers to be posted on a public board, so they are now available at the Cross and Stake. Rather than bring over the entire post, I'm going to mention the highlights which haven't been mentioned in other spoilage reports. Hop over to the Cross and Stake for the entire message. Thanks to Laurie (who is a new source as far as I can tell) for the Spoiler Update. Bring On The NightI can actually confirm much of this information. For example, Xander and Buffy do go in search of another SIT in 'Showtime', as well as Buffy's reasoning in 'Bring On The Night' to rescue Spike and the true name of the UberVamp. Also, when Laurie mentions that both Buffy and Dawn run into a girl named Amanda I'm not sure who that is. The early information I had for 'Bring On The Night' had two slayers named Amanda and Cat, Amanda was originally slated to die at the hands of the Ubervamp, while Cat and Kennedy would continue to 'Showtime'. But when 'Showtime' information started trickling in, it was Annabelle who had died and Molly was the SIT who was passing this info along to the new arrivals. So I don't know if this is info that's been changed in the scripts, or if they moved back Amanda's arrival. As I mentioned a while back, it's been really hard to keep track of all the SIT's. Laurie mentions that there are Five SIT's at the end of 'Potential', counting Dawn, I have 6 SIT's in Sunnydale at the end of 'Showtime', does this mean one doesn't make it? Then again, it could tie in with Wanda's info that one of those cast could not actually attend the filming. Which is why I hesitate to post names I can also add a few details for 'Showtime', but I've been hoping another source would post first so I could get another confirm. When I mentioned a while back that there was some confusion over the Line of Succession for Slayers, it seems to be information being passed along by the False-SIT. Not only is she openly critical of Buffy's ability to protect them, but she also infers that when Buffy dies one of them will become the next Slayer (which according to the writers is not the case). When Buffy and Xander go out, they seem to be heading to a local motel. The gang is also searching for the Beljoxa's Eye (though whether that's the Oracle that Giles and Anya visits or what they need to defeat the Ubervamp, it's not entirely clear to me). The Spoiler Slayer will be updated tomorrow. Link |
