ECH posted the following at FanForum, dealing with the events of Episode 8. Looks like solid info to me, although it really doesn't provide more info than we already knew.

I'll work on updating the Spoiler Slayer page to reflect this info tomorrow. While it might seem as if the Spike storyline is taking a definite turn to the darkside, the fact that this is the storyline they are pumping in the summary makes me think that this could be 'Chip Malfunction Part II'. There's a good chance we are being misled or even having our attention drawn away what might be a major Sweeps ending event.
