Spike, Tara, Buffy

Spike Update

As promised last week, I have some new info to pass along and there is also another report on what could be Spike's story in Episode Eight.

Ame at FanForum posted the following transcript from a Space Network (Canada) promo.

and one with Spike in a black shirt, jacket, sitting at a table with a girl. Where? Looks like the Bronze did a little re-furbishing, or ran out of tables, - there was a table for two on a second level. Didn't get a clear shot of the girl until she said something about her slipping into something more comfortable . . . which proved to be game-face. Spike sees, and shocked, pushes away from his seat at the table. A short clip later shows the girl-vamp kicking him into the air. He does a nice flip towards the stairs. Wahoo! Also got a short interview with JM. And got his take on when Joss first told him about Spike and Buffy getting together . . .
This is interesting and I can only presume that it might be from 'Sleeper'. Again, I'm hearing various tidbits from numerous sources and none of them point in the same direction. I did manage to get a little more information on Spike that I can pass along, but the problem is that it really doesn't do much to point towards Spike being 'Good' or 'Evil'. From what I've been told, the opinions that the Scoobies have about Spike are essentially unchanged as of Episode 9. Which I know doesn't really answer anything, but at least Buffy isn't actively trying to track him down and stake him.

However, it also seems that nobody is sure exactly 'where' Spike is, or 'what' state of mind he is in.

Amber-Less, Yes

TV Guide Online is reporting that contrary to their episode information for 'Conversations With Dead People', Amber Benson will not reprise her role (or any other) on the show this season.

In another article, they also report on the demise of the Buffy cartoon.

Sarah-Less, Maybe Not

Sci-Fi Wire has info on comments that Sarah Michelle Gellar made while talking to Access Hollywood. She has not ruled out staying with the series past Season Seven.
