October 29, 2002TV Guide, Lack Of Response
Night Of The Living Dead TV Guide has posted the summary for "Conversations With Dead People" Conversations with Dead People 60 min. In a jarring episode filled with returning characters, Buffy, Dawn and Willow encounter deceased people from their pasts. While out on patrol, Buffy (Sarah Michelle Gellar) squares off with a former classmate and current vampire (Jonathan M. Woodward), who goads her into revealing her insecurities. Back at home, Dawn (Michelle Trachtenberg) is thrown into a panic when an invisible force trashes the Summers' house and deposits the corpse of her mother (Kristine Sutherland) on the sofa. Then Willow (Alyson Hannigan) awakens to see Tara (Amber Benson) sitting across from her at the library. Meanwhile, nerdy villains Jonathan and Andrew (Danny Strong, Tom Lenk) return from Mexico. No real surprises, with the exception of Amber Benson showing up in the credits. This goes against information released by UPN, which did not include her in the cast listing. I've also had some fairly confident reports that Amber would not be appearing this season, along with a few that hinted that she might. I guess we really won't find out until the Wildfeed airs. So for right now, I think it's going to have to stay as 'Possible'. It also appears that Dawn is not visited by the spirit of Joyce, which is why the wording of early summaries is always going to be questionable. I think there is a lot in this episode which is going to be a question mark until it airs.
The saga of the computer that I've been using to support the site has come to an end. After many years of intense use, the system has breathed it's last. This is part of the reason why the updates have not been so extensive over the past few weeks, as I mentioned before I was using it to store files, information and email all in one place. The reason why I mention it here, is that it happened to once again take out the majority of the email that I've received in the past month. So if you have not received a reply, or if you've sent along spoilage that I haven't got back to you on, that's the reason why. Luckily, I still have a spare, but it's going to take a while to get everything transferred off of backup and onto the other machine. At least this it's a repeat this week and I don't have to worry about crunching out a review. Sorry if I didn't get back to your e-mail, all the input, comments, and spoilage is greatly appreciated.
