April 02, 2002AM Update - Notes, Bronze, Wanda
Shame On Me As expected, the entire 'Entropy' Wildfeed was an April Fool's prank, or was it? Although I was in on the joke, even I had to wonder when I read it yesterday morning. I kept waiting for it to become obvious that it was a spoof, but Leoff did a masterful job of cranking out a very realistic 'Wildfeed'.
Of course, with it being April Fool's Day, I have to be skeptical of anything posted. That being said, Drew Greenberg swung by the Bronze and dropped this interesting tidbit. "And Amber and Emma are both sticking around, neither one is going anywhere, so don’t worry." I would point out that both Marti and Steven have said that Tara would not be killed, and they are heavily involved with the episodes surrounding that event. Then again, if it's only temporary, then all that had been said would still be true in some respect. I still wouldn't put my money on a reset or reversal, but I do think revival or resurrection could be in the cards (although I think there will be a big price for this). You can read all of his comments at the Bronze VIP Archive.
In her weekly chat, Wanda spilled a bit more on the possible future of Buffy/Spike. Also, she seems to bring into doubt the possibility of Giles returning this season. Was Marti Noxon positive about no more Buffy/Spike? PLEASE TELL ME! She made it pretty clear that they're not dabbling in any positive Spuffiness from here on out. The upcoming episodes bring back more of the Spike of old. Link |
