March 03, 2002Sunday Update - Buffy/Xander, Warrenbot, Location Shoot, Airdates and Titles
Just a note for tomorrow. There may not be an AM Update on Monday (and it's likely there may not be one on Tuesday either). My schedule is going to have me away from the computer for at least one, if not both of those days. If there is an update, it will be up very early (between 9 and 10 AM EST). The PM updates will be available at there normal time. As usual, I have activated the link on the Main Page for the Wildfeed. B/X'ers Rejoice - Maybe Tom Vale posted the following at the Cross and Stake Spoiler Board. The poison causes Buffy to see an ideal life, where Joyce is alive and still with Hank as the perfect parents, Dawn was never a mystical key that lead to her death, and where Buffy is engaged to Xander...I'm not sure where to go with this one, everything before the final phrase is pretty much confirmed, but the Buffy/Xander just doesn't fit at all. We've never had any indication that Buffy feels that way about Xander (and if she's hallucinating, why not a normal 'Spike' or 'Riley', I'd even say 'Angel' but that would mean a crossover). Spike would be the lead candidate, especially since we've heard spoilers that indicate that something is going to happen which will be good news for Spike. Yet it's reading a lot into the few spoilers that we do have. My thought, if she's in a mental asylum, having a fiancee is pretty much the last thing you would want. Domo Arigato, Mr Roboto Ladyday posted at the Cross and Stake Spoiler Board, information from a conversation they had with Adam Busch. I was chatting with Adam (warren) last night and he was telling me about a narly fight seen coming up between his character and Buffy. He also told me that they are making a Warren robot... He also said that his character has a lot of "issues" that are going to come out and that no matter how easy it seems, having a chair broken over your head really does hurt. Just thought I'd share...Normally I would be skeptical of this information, if I didn't speculate myself about the possibility of a Warrenbot back in December (19th). I would rather see the 'Big Bad' be one of the Troika, as perhaps Andrew is really Prof. Walsh's son or Warren is really a robot (perhaps built by Ted).As for him getting into a 'narly fight' with Buffy, I think it would be more surprising if he didn't. The robot aspect, well it has to be something that would happen after 'Dead Things'. If he was a robot previous to this, he wouldn't have been beaten up somewhat in 'Gone' (Buffy punched him hard enough to send him flying), nor injured in 'Dead Things'. Going To The Mall Lupa posted the following location shoot information at FanForum. (Combined from multiple posts) BTVS was filming at an outdoor mall in Santa Monica the other day. It was just a short scene of Buffy walking with Dawn. Some guy pushes into Dawn and Buffy pushes him away. Sorry, but no dialogue was overheard.Since there is so little information here, it's really hard to judge. It's just a brief scene, but something that is entirely possible. It could very well tie in with the amusement park scenes (which for some reason, keeps on giving me Kiss flashbacks) Airdate and Titles - Maybe, Maybe Not Mercy posted the following at the Cross and Stake Spoiler Board. #17 Normal Again Written by Diego Guttriez 3/12/02 #18 Entropy Written by Drew Z. Greenberg 4/23/02 #19 Revengeance Written by Steven DeKnight 4/30/02 #20 Relapse Unknown 5/7/02 #21 Unknown Written by Marti Noxon 5/14/02 #22 Unknown Written and Directed by David Fury 5/21/02I'm very skeptical of the titles for Episode 19 and 20. Especially since if you had the title, you should know the writer. The airdates look to be accurate, but it's nothing that you couldn't figure out on your own. I myself mentioned that the season will likely end on May 21st, if you count back and put in a five week period for repeats (which Angel will be having, so it's possible that the same will happen with Buffy), those are the dates you would arrive at. The newer titles seem to echo those passed along earlier in the season ('Best Served Cold' and 'Venoms'), which turned out to be false. Link |
