January 29, 2002AM Update - Possible 'As You Were' Spoilers, Other Spoilers
Isabelle posted the following spoilers for 'As You Were' at Fan Forum. This is in direct reference to Spike telling Buffy he can get her the money in Doublemeat Palace. This is pure conjecture but in the As You Were script Riley evidently is looking for a nest of demons and he thinks Spike is involved-- in the script Buffy is trying to tell him she doesn't think Spike is good but that he wouldn't be part of this. They go to the lower level and its covered in little demon eggs. Spike tries to explain that he was doing a favor for a friend and Buffy punches him in the nose. I think Spike was somehow babysitting these eggs for money that he was going to give Buffy. But thats just my opinion. (opinion of source)I'm not sure exactly who the original source is and I haven't seen it posted elsewhere. However, I've been trying to figure out the spoiler from Angel X that states, "But catching the demon reveals that it has already laid it's eggs somewhere." This spoiler not only fills in the blanks, but fits Spike's character perfectly. Having another scene establishing that Buffy is still working for the 'Doublemeat Palace', makes this seem even more likely. Another couple of tidbits were posted at the Cross and Stake Spoiler Board by BB. During 16 Xander ends up in the same motel room that Faith stayed in back in Season 3. If it does happen, which I can't be too sure on, then it seems kind of important to his development.I also agree with these spoilers, it makes a certain amount of sense. With all the couples now apart at the end of the Wedding, I don't really see what else 'could' happen in Episode 17. It's very rare for all the characters to be in a state of relationship flux, so either one couple has to get back together or permanently end their relationship in the next episode to keep this trend going. I've also got a confirm on the Spike/Buffy conversation at the Wedding, and that it is from actual shooting sides (not casting sides). Later today I'll add the above spoilage to the Spoiler Slayer page, and upgrade the Spike/Buffy spoiler from 'Possible' to 'Likely'. Link |
