PM Update First, before I

PM Update

First, before I do get to the spoilery news that is out there, I should just mention something about the amount of e-mail I've been receiving. It has gone from about 25 a day, to around 50 or so now. While I try to answer every e-mail promptly, it still might take a while before I get to yours. Especially if it's more speculation than spoiler. You shouldn't be offended if I don't reply to you immediately, or if you're a frequent sender and I don't answer every e-mail. I'll try to do my best, but I can't make any guarantees.

Wendy at BAPS has an update, although most of which has already been covered here. She did have this new information, concerning a possible swap of writers.

I have an anonymous (to you all) but credible tip that Drew Greenberg is writing Episode 14. If anyone can tell me what the hey Doug Petrie is doing instead of writing BtVS, I'd greatly appreciate it. Doug, we miss you!
It probably should be noted that this will be the second swap, as Doug was supposed to originally be doing Episode 13, but then swapped with Steven DeKnight. She also backs up AngelX's spoilage at the Cross and Stake. Who also has this updated and new spoilage.
Episode 11 (Gone?): This ep will deal with the 3 supervillains and their plans. Episode 12 (Doublemeat Palace?): Buffy tries to ignore the temptation that is Spike, but fails. (Sorry for the earlier confusion about this spoiler, I wasn't given *all* the information before.)
When it rains, it definitely pours, as David Fury has just finished posting at the Bronze Beta as I type. Major tidbits are...
  • They will shoot Episode 14 before they take the Holiday break. Doug Petrie will be directing Episode 15 when they get back
  • There will be well-lit, naked Buffy in his episode (11). He could be kidding, but then again either invisible or rat Buffy would fit that definition
  • Also naked Spike. He also thinks his episode might not be liked in certain circles
Which is really, and even though it's just speculation, strengthening the idea that this episode might involve some kind of invisibility ray. Which brings up another explanation for the aluminum can seen at the location shoot. It was a placemaker for a special effect, that will be added in post-production. That way the extra's would have a reference point to react to the 'invisible force'. Then again, maybe it's just one of the demonic aluminum cans (must be a Pepsi can).
