October 15, 2001Leoff posted the Wildfeed for
Leoff posted the Wildfeed for 'Flooded' at the Buffy Cross and Stake boards. I'm in the process of updating the Spoiler Slayer, it should be updated within the hour. As usual, although I'll update the rankings for the latest episode from the WildFeeds, I won't do the ranking or move the false spoilers to the bottom until after the episode airs. Because this episode really begins to kick things off, the Buffy Formula will be updated tomorrow as well. Herc also posted info on Episode 6.8, including the title 'Tabula Rasa' (which means Clean or Blank Slate). Which means that the Asylum episode will likely be Episode Nine. He also drops info on a new character, 'Teeth', who actually appears at the end of 'Life Serial'. This could be a very interesting episode, and as I suspected 'Restless' is playing out this season as well. It's also strengthening my opinion that 'Magic' is going to be the common thread in most of the episodes this season. Almost half of the episodes so far are revolving around spellcasting, the others seems to deal with 'possession'. The interesting question about the latest info, is who exactly is behind the amnesia spell. I hate to go against Herc a bit here (especially in light of his record), but I've always questioned Xander casting the truth spell in the musical. Now that we know from script tidbits that there is a mysterious character (Sweet), it brings up the question that maybe he was the one who cast the spell. Then again, from what I can see there are very strong 'Midsummer Night's Dream' overtones to the Musical. Perhaps Sweet is somewhat of a Puck character, either drawn by the spell or summoned by Xander on accident. Which makes one wonder if the amnesia spell is either a side-effect of the Musical, or if it's Willow making one last attempt to hide what she did to Tara. Link |
