September 07, 2001Quick comment on the reasons
Quick comment on the reasons for moving the Tara/Willow fight spoilers from Possible to Unlikely. I should have explained my reasoning, but it was something I did as I was updating other parts of the page, and I overlooked it. I don't have any solid information that made me decide on the change. Rather, it's a lack of information that is the reason why I did it. Out of all the characters this season, I've seen spoilers that hint at directions. For example. we can hazard a guess that the Xander/Anya conflict is going to stem from Xander's decision not to mention the engagement. Even if the spoilers isn't correct, it's at least something to work on. Unfortunately, I've heard hardly anything in terms of the Willow/Tara relationship. Almost to the point that I'm beginning to wonder if it's being kept under wraps on purpose. I would expect that Tara would have serious reservations with Willow's use of magic in regards to bringing Buffy back, but we haven't heard anything that would prove this. Likewise, I haven't heard anything that would lead to a fight, that would cause Willow to take the drastic measure of making Tara forget (especially in light of what Glory did to her). The only thing I have is the original AICN spoiler, and they aren't always correct. That came out very early and it's possible that it was originally planned, but has been moved to another episode. If I do get further information, or at least something to give me a hint as to the Willow/Tara arc, then I'll move it back to possible or even likely. I still expect to see Willow and Tara conflict, it's more a question of when. Link |
