July 18, 2003More Angel Spoilers
I'm going to point out that Spoiled Rotten has a nice summary of all the 'Angel' info on the first episode. It contains more detail than I went into, and rather than just cut and paste it here, you can hop over to the site if you want to get the entire rundown. But wait, there's more. There's a bit I missed yesterday and a bit they missed. I Know Voir Dire I failed to note that Gunn is actually the one who saves the day, strolling into court to save Wolfram and Hart's slimy client, with a little legalese and a little blackmail. Apparently the judge has a financial connection to the Fries (the one who is on trial), and Wolfram and Hart has the dirt on some other dealings. So a mistrial is called and Los Angeles does not go boom. Which it might not have in the first place, apparently the vessel can contain many things. So it might be plague or plastique, but it seems that in the end it all works out. But not for Hauser. If you recall, he's the head of the Special Ops team, who decides that if you can't work for them, take them out. Unfortunately, Hauser's team is no match for Angel. Nor for that matter is Hauser, whom Angel decides it's time to 'terminate' his contract with Wolfram and Hart. With a shotgun no less Finally, the surprises just keep coming. Remember the doctor who was very interested in Gunn. It appears that he was doing more than peeking into his mind, he was adding stuff to it. Gunn has agreed to let Wolfram and Hart enhance his mind. So now, not only is he a handy guy with an axe, he's also a handy guy in the courtroom. |
