September 07, 2003Site News: All Quiet
As the week has gone on, there has been very little news from the Spoiler front for any of the shows. There have been a number of interviews and other information that has come out, but nothing that really brings anything new to the table. I should mention, just because I've gotten so many emails informing me of the news, that 'Firefly' will become a motion picture. That news was reported by various sources, and should start filming in early 2004. Which means that we'll likely see it either very late in 2004, or more than likely 2005. With this announcement, plus what will likely be a solid DVD release, is there a chance that the show will try for another TV run? A couple of other notes. I am planning on hashing out my thoughts on the final season of Buffy and how it fits into the Buffy Formula. Look for an update of that site by the end of the week at the latest. I'd also like thank everyone who writes with feedback and information. Although I can't guarantee a personal response to any requests for information, I do appreciate it. Finally, a few people have written about being unable to participate in the polls that I post occasionally at the Yahoo! Groups page. Yahoo! Groups recently made some changes to the level of access members and non-members would have. There are two ways that you can subscribe for the e-mail updates. The first way, is a direct subscription which doesn't require you to sign up for a Yahoo! Groups account. All you do is submit your email address, or send an email to the Subscribe link and you are added. The other way is to create a Yahoo! Groups account, and then add the Spoiler Slayer to the list of your groups. If you use the direct method, without signing up for a Yahoo! Groups account, I believe you can't access certain features. If you have a Yahoo! Groups account, then you can. If you want to sign-up for a Yahoo! Groups account, just go to groups.yahoo.com and select the option to register. |
