The victim this week is a young bride, Nicole, who was shot at her wedding. She may have lived, but the ambulance didn't make it in time. A man, Justin, arrives and says he's Nicole's fiancee. Tru lets him see her, but her and Davis later discover him trying to remove the bullet from Nicole's body. He shoots Davis and is about to shoot Tru when...

The Day Resets

Tru discovers that Nicole is not engaged to Justin, and that he lives with his girlfriend, Alyssa. Turns out that Justin has been out of sorts since his ex, Nicole, announced she was getting married. Justin arrives in a police car, turns out that he is a cop. As Tru leaves, Justin says he needs to talk with Alyssa.

Tru calls the police department and leaves a message for Justin that Nicole wants to meet him. He arrives to find Tru, who tries to figure why he would want to kill Nicole. She then tries to drug him, realizing just in time that he doesn't have his gun and couldn't kill Nicole. Tru arrives at the church and tries to figure out who shot Nicole, when she hears a gunshot.

Justin later finds Alyssa at his house, turns out that he broke up with her earlier in the day. She is the one who shot Nicole, and figures this is the perfect way to both get revenge and frame Justin for Nicole's death. Justin grabs his gun and goes to the morgue to recover the bullet (which can be traced to his gun).

At the morgue, it turns out that Tru has driven Nicole there. She's still alive, and they are trying to save Nicole's life. Justin walks in with the gun, only caring about getting the bullet back.
