TC: Episode 20 Info
I've gotten some very limited information on the 20th episode of 'Tru Calling'. It looks to be one where we're again going to see several takes on the day. This makes it very hard to determine the actual order of things. No episode title at this time either.

Tru Calling: Episode 20
The main plot of the episode is the relationship between Emma and Donnie. A young couple, Emma has recently left Donnie because of his anger management issues. They also have a young son, Ethan.
The episode opens with a loud argument between Donnie and Emma, where he's accusing her of seeing someone else. He knows this, because his friends have seen another man with Ethan. At one point, he whips out a gun. This scene will be played out at least twice, with a few variations. In this variation, the front door opens and a man walks in (we don't see him). Donnie thinks this is the man, and pushes Emma to the ground and we hear a gunshot.
I've tried to put this info in order, but it's really hard to judge. I believe the episode then jumps back to the very start of the first day, before the reset.
Tru and Harrison are at a wedding. The minister refers to Tru as a friend of the bride, and Harrison is not entirely thrilled to be there, so I'm guessing Lindsey has accepted Randall's proposal.
Meanwhile, Davis has arrived at Emma's house. Oddly enough, it's almost as if he's arriving at the scene of the crime before it happens (and trying to keep a low profile).
Inside the house, the scene plays out as in the teaser. With Donnie threatening Emma and trying to get her to spill about the man she's seeing. He pulls the gun, but this time they are interrupted by Ethan. Donnie reconsiders and puts the gun away. He tells Emma he's going to find the guy, and leaves.
In the meantime, we discover that Harrison has been a 'big brother' of sorts to Ethan recently. At one point, he is called to a local store, where Ethan was caught shoplifting. He takes Tru there as well, and they work things out with the owner. Ethan is worried that Harrison will tell his mother, but Harrison tells Ethan that he should be the one to tell her. Harrison's going to take him home, and Ethan is going to admit what he did.
However, Harrison has never been to his house. When Ethan tells them his address, both he and Tru are shocked. This is where the crime they have to stop was committed. They both agree it's best if Emma is called and picks up Ethan at the morgue. At the morgue, Tru goes to see Davis, and there is some very deep insight from Harrison about dying. (my impression is that there are some very ominous undertones).
Emma arrives at the morgue to pick up Ethan. Harrison introduces himself, they've never met. Emma appreciates everything that he has done. Tru then comes in an introduces herself. Tru asks Harrison to wait outside with Ethan. They talk briefly about Harrison, and what Emma thinks about him. Tru may have the impression that Harrison and Emma are closer than it appears.
Later, Donnie returns to Emma's house. He finds the front door unlocked, and a note from Emma nearby. She and Ethan have gone away until he's calmed down. Donnie starts to get angry, when suddenly Bill comes into the house with some flowers. He's looking for Emma. When Donnie ask if he's a friend of Emma's, he says they never met. Which at this point, Donnie figures he's lying and pulls out the gun.
Tru arrives outside and rushes to the house. Inside, Donnie is getting ready to shoot Bill. Bill keeps insisting that he doesn't know Emma, he's never met her. Tru gets inside and tries to stop it. She's explaining that this is all a misunderstanding (and I should note, Bill knows Tru). Donnie is completely losing it, aims the gun, apologizes and fires. (my call is that he may be shooting himself). More than a bit confusing. We neither know who is shot in the intro, or what Davis is doing skulking around the location at the time of the shooting. Also unsure how Bill fits into all of this.
If I had to hazard a guess, there's a chance a main character may die in this episode. I don't know who, there are enough clues to point to just about anyone. But that's the feeling that I'm getting from the overall tone of the episode. « hide more

TC: Episode 19 Info
Information has come out on 'Tru Calling' episode 19. A couple of big surprises in this episode, which should really start to build up the final few episodes. It's hard to tell from the count, but there may be as little as two episodes remaining. (because previous news is that they only picked up enough episodes to film 21 this season)

Tru Calling 1.19
The episode centers around a doctor (Dr. Colvin) who passes away from a heart attack. While Tru can't save him, he asks her to 'Help Them'. Not knowing who it is, she has to figure out who is in trouble. The big news is that at this point, Jack knows that she's repeating the days and is 'helping' her in this episode.
Lindsay is having problems deciding what to do about Randall (a new man in her life, introduced in the previous episode), Tru tries to reassure her. After she gets off the phone, she talks with Jack about it. Seems that Tru is trying to convince Lindsay not to say 'yes'
Tru and Jack are on their way to Marc's apartment. When they arrive, they have to deliver the news to Marc about his father's death. Although he's shocked, he doesn't seem hurt. He refuses to go to the morgue to identify the body, and explains that they didn't get along. His father didn't care about anything but his work, so he tells them to check the office.
Harrison calls the morgue, looking for Tru. Davis picks up instead. Harrison wants to talk to Tru about Lindsay, and Davis figures it's about Randall's proposal. Which shocks Harrrison, as he didn't know about Randall. They end their discussion, I believe talking about Jack. Harrison thinks there's something about him that bothers him, almost like he doesn't fear death.
Tru and Jack are now at the medical office. Jack wants to know how Tru manages to save people. She finds ways, and then inquires what Jack does in these situations. (???)
They enter a very busy office, where one of the patients, Nadine is waiting to talk to the doctor. Gail, who is the office manager, is busy answering the phone and trying to keep things under control. She asks Nadine to wait a bit longer, but she walks out instead. When there's a break, Jack explains why they are there, and asks if she'll come down to the morgue to identify the body.
Gail manages to stay in control long enough to get everyone in the office aware of what needs to be done next. Then she starts to break down, revealing to Tru and Jack that Dr. Colvin was more than a boss to her. Gail suddenly remembers that Lily, a waitress that Dr. Colvin is tutoring, is waiting for him across the street. Tru ask Gail to stay, they'll go tell Lily.
As they head to the shop, Jack wonders if this is who Dr. Colvin meant when he said 'help them'. Tru doesn't know, it could be anyone he knows. She has no idea who is going to die today. Tru then approaches Lily to break the news to her.
Tru heads back to Marc's apartment. She hears Marc and Gail arguing, about how he won't go down and identify the body. Tru walks in, explaining that he needs to come down to the morgue. Marc doesn't care, because his father abandoned him when he decided to be an artist rather than a doctor. The fact that he's a good man doesn't matter to him, his father would rather spend time with those interested in his field, than his own son. He asks both Gail and Tru to leave.
Harrison, in the meantime, is confronting Randall. Randall reaches for something in his jacket, Harrison thinks it might be a gun. What he pulls out is an engagement ring. He's just been promoted but will be transferred to London. He wants Lindsay to come with him. Harrison realizes at this point that he's going to lose her.
Back at Dr. Colvin's office, Tru is talking with Gail. Gail confesses that she always loved him, but she doesn't know if he really knew. She never told him, she always though there would be more time. She notices a medical record out, and realizes that it's Nadine's (from earlier in the day). Another Doctor had ruled her symptoms as cancerous, however Gail and Tru realize that the new test results show that it wasn't cancer. Tru realizes who Nadine is, and that Jack picked up her body during the first pass through the day (she was a suicide). They try to call her with no success.
Tru calls Jack at the morgue, telling him that's who was going to die. She suddenly realizes that Jack knew who she was, but he plays dumb. She remembers that he looked her right in the face when she left the office earlier in the day.
At Dr. Colvin's house, Tru asks Gail if there is anything else she can do. Lily shows up to return a book he lent her. As Tru follows them deeper into the house, she discovers that the person Dr. Colvin really wanted to help was he son. She stares at wonder at what fills the room they've just walked into.
Tru manages to convince Marc to sign the papers allowing the body to be released to Gail, but she makes him come to the house to sign them. At the house, Tru walks him into the room. Where he sees, on every wall and every available space, his paintings. His father has been buying them for years. He always cared, he just couldn't tell his son.
The episode closes on Tru walking past Luc (they've been avoiding each other for some time). Tru stops him this time, it's time to talk. They can't put things off, expecting that there'll be another day to say the things they want to.
That's all I got. Looks to be a good episode, as the story arc with Jack is really beginning to pick up. At first, it looked like he wanted to help Tru, but by the end it's apparent that he's not who he seems to be. Or at least, that's the way it looks from what I can tell. He knew that Nadine was going to die, but doesn't appear to want to save her. However, this could be a mislead, as I don't know what happens after this. It could be that after Tru goes back to talk with Marc, that Jack goes and saves Nadine.
But you know what? The show would be so much more interesting if he was evil. Because right now, the show is really lacking a villain, and could use a good one.

Tru Calling: Rear Window (1.18)
Tru is talking with Davis over the phone, about one of her neighbors who lives across the way (Tru is watching her from her window). Somewhere else, a man is in a phone booth leaving a message on a young woman's answering machine. He's threatening her, saying that he'll track her down one way or another.
The next morning, Tru is awoken by a delivery, but it's not for her. It's for someone who lives upstairs. So after she's fully awake, she has to take the very heavy box, up to her neighbor.
Here we meet Tim, who's excited that the package has arrived. It's a new telescope. He then asks Tru for some advice on asking out this girl he knows, that lives in the neighborhood. Tru, thinking he's hinting about her, tells him to take it slow.
At some point, the man who left the message ends up in the morgue. His name is Chris, which I believe is a name that Tru recognizes as the woman who lives across from her. Tru goes to talk to her on the repeat day, and discovers that the female-Chris had her identity stolen. The man who died stole her identity several months earlier. As they arrive at the building where she lives, Tru is stunned to see Jack. It turns out that he's moving into the building.
Desperate for help, Tru asks Jack to keep an eye on the female-Chris. Then goes off to the morgue for a meeting with the male-Chris. Davis has gotten him there, thinking he's going to make a sale. But Chris quickly realizes what is going on and Tru confronts him about stealing the female Chris's identity. Here's the twist, he is the real-Chris.
Tru manages to figure things out, and confronts the female-Chris. Who surprisingly, offers to pay back all the money. Tru sets up a meeting, and the real-Chris accepts her offer. The female-Chris confesses to Tru that her real name is Cathy.
However, it's still too early for Chris to have died. Back at her building Tru rushes up the stairs and discovers Tim and Chris fighting each other. Tim thinks that Chris is after Cathy, because he saw him break into her apartment. Tru knows that Tim will kill Chris, but manages to stop him just in time. Tru explains the truth about who Cathy is, then gets mad at Chris for even coming (she warned him off earlier). It turns out that the money Cathy paid him off with was fake.
That's all I've got.
I would also note that they are reading for a new character Randall, who would seem to be a new love interest for Tru.
I'm also going to throw out a thought about Jack. He's obviously onto Tru in some manner, as it's more than a bit suspicious that he's suddenly decided to move across the way from Tru. Now either he's the opposite of Tru (perhaps a 'Reaper' - ala 'Dead Like Me'), or perhaps he actually is aware that the days are repeating and is trying to track down who is behind it.
I have a feeling that within the next few episodes, we're going to find out. « hide more

Tru Calling: Episode 18
Untitled and introduces two neighbors of Tru. One, Sally, lives across the street from her, and they seem to have a neighborly relationship, except for the fact that Tru thinks her name is Chris Berenson. When Tru gets involved to help her neighbor, Sally claims to be the victim of identity theft. In actuality she's the culprit, and a full-blown con-artist. Also, we are introduced to Tim Baxter, a respectable, if slightly nerdy-looking guy. Paul Shapiro directs this one, with the writer TBD

Tru Calling: Two Pair (1.17)
It appears in this episode that Tru has to save two people, whom she originally thinks are not connected to each other. There is also the possibility that the first victim, Tru was originally unable to save in time. But then the second victim asks for her help, so she has the chance to try and save both. In order to do so, she needs to enlist the help of Harrison.
It also does appear that Harrison may have broken up with Lindsay at this time. Reluctantly, Tru gives him the easier assignment. To save the life a young grad student, Melissa. In the meantime, she's going to try to rescue a man named Geoffrey. Harrison goes to the college, where Melissa is just ending a lecture on probabilities. He tries to strike up a conversation with Melissa. However, she suspects that he's just there to hit on her, and blows him off. He calls Tru, who's just arriving at Geoffrey's location. She encourages him to keep trying, and suggests that he try lying instead of trying to pick her up.
Tru enters the warehouse where Geoffrey has his office, and finds him on the phone. He's one of those people who have a million ideas about how to make a million dollars, all of which fail. He has various companies and names that he goes by, he's even convinced his wife that he's in Hong Kong doing a business deal. Tru makes her presence known, and passes herself off as a representative from one of the banks he owes money to. He promises that she'll have her money by the end of the day and ushers her out.
Back at the campus, Harrison finds Melissa having lunch on the roof of one of the buildings. He tries a different approach, explaining that he needs help with his math. They start hitting it off, and Melissa talks about how busy she is. Harrison tries to hit on her again, and she's more receptive but still declines, it's more an issue of time.
While Tru trails Geoffrey, we see Jack at the morgue, trying to locate the owner of a boat. When Davis comes in, Jack lies about what he's up to. Later on, Tru and Harrison track both Geoffrey and Melissa to the same bar, where there is some backroom gambling going on.
Geoffrey wants to know who she is, and she says that she's a friend of his wife. Geoffrey knows she's lying, because when she does she brushes back her hair (Harrison tugs on his collar). Melissa thinks that Harrison followed her, but he points out that he was there before her. While Tru convinces Geoffrey that she's there to help, Harrison discovers why Melissa is there at all. She thought she would put her theories about probability to the test, by gambling. Unfortunately, she lost all of her tuition money and soon her parents will find out.
Much later, Tru and Harrison talk over the phone. It's time for him to save Melissa, and Tru gives him as much encouragement as she can. He steps out onto the roof of the building where they had lunch. Melissa is only moments away from throwing herself off. She doesn't know what else to do, as she can't face her parents, who sacrificed everything to put her through college. She can't see what other choice she has, until Harrison offers her his car. She can sell it to give some money to the school, until she can find the rest. Looks to be a good episode, and I do like the various variations on the 'repeat day' theme. They are also working to beef up Harrison's role in the series, which also is probably good for the series. What I'm most curious about, is what Jack (Jason Priestley) is up to in this episode. What is his agenda? « hide more

Death Becomes Her
In this episode, Tru has to save the life of an actress, Carly Anders. She was killed in a car accident, when her car went off a bridge and ended up sinking into the river.
Early in the episode, Tru and Harrison are out buying her a car. They've just closed the deal. Harrison comments that she can do anything she wants, like visit their mother's grave. Tru confesses that she hasn't been there in a while, and may not go back. Harrison thinks she's crazy for being mad at their mother for not telling them about her secret. He then heads off, as he and Lindsay are having dinner with Lindsay's sister that night.
That evening, Davis is brushing up Tru on the protocol for the celebrity who will be visiting today. Stressing that she needs to remain cool. At which point, we are introduced to Carly and her assistant. Davis is a bit flustered, but Tru is able to pick up the slack and conduct a tour for Carly.
Carly has explained that she's preparing for an upcoming role, and she grills Tru about the details of her job. In addition, she starts to fire off a number of hypothetical questions about how they declare a person dead, if they don't have a body. Carly's assistant goes off, leaving Tru and Carly alone. Carly asks about how Tru ended up in this job, and then talks a bit about the pressure and expectations that come with being an actress, fulfilling that calling. She almost thinks she'd be better off in Tru's shoes.
(large gap)
Carly's car sinks into the water. Tru arrives, thinking that she's too late. However, Carly is still up on the bridge that the car went off of, calling into emergency services, pretending that she's being following and is trying frantically to get away. Tru approaches her, saying that she won't get away with it. Carly moves to leave, when another car races around the corner and is about to run her over. Tru pushes her out of the way at the last instant, and realizes what really happened.
Carly was trying to fake her own death, but as she was leaving the scene of her 'accident', the other car hit her and knocked her body into the river. She was trying to do it to protect a secret, about her and other person, Isabelle. (no idea who Isabelle is, could be a daughter, might be a lover).
Tru knows about this, and about keeping secrets. She tries to convince Carly not to take this route. But Carly has no choice, she's being blackmailed by a man named Peter. She tried to pay him off, but it didn't work. So that's why she came up with this plan, so she and Isabelle can go off an live in another country. They're leaving tonight. Carly begs Tru to let her go.
Later, the police are finishing up their investigation of the accident scene. Carly, or her body, are nowhere to be found. Davis is there with Tru, and he wonders if she's doing the right thing. Tru isn't sure, but it's really not her decision to make. Davis agrees, sometimes not everyone needs help staying 'alive'. « hide more

Tru doesn't know this, and arrives to late to stop Carly's car from going into the river. However, she's shocked to find that Carly is still alive. Tru Calling: The Getaway (1.15)
Mainly info from the climax, as the day revolves around Tru trying to stop a young couple (Charlie and Beth) from going on a crime spree. It's unclear who dies, but there are several possibilities.
The info I have begins with Tru at the pair's final destination, a diner.
At the diner, Tru sits counting off the minutes. The cop isn't too happy about Tru's lead, as it doesn't seem to be panning out. But outside, Charlie and Beth pull up in their car. Beth is angry because Charlie's backing out, he's been spooked by Tru's knowledge of their plans to rob an arcade and liquor store earlier.
Beth thinks that Charlie might have even tipped her off. Charlie denies this, it's just that he was only in it for the money. He wasn't out to kill anyone or even go this far, he's doing it more for her than him. Beth on the other hand, doesn't care, she wants both the money and the action. If he won't do it, she'll do it on her own. She takes the gun and leaves.
Back in the diner, Tru calls it a night and leaves.
(gap)
Tru runs into Michelle, the reporter that was trying to track her down in the previous episode. Something happens, and she goes running back to the diner. She enters to find Beth and the cop pointing guns at each other. Tru tries to talk her down, but Beth forces her to sit in a booth.
Beth grabs the money the cashier was gathering, and starts to back out the door, when Michelle bursts in. Beth grabs her and points the gun at her head. Tru knows that things are about to go very bad (does Michelle die in this episode, is this who Tru has to save?). She tries again to convince Beth to give up peacefully, blocking her path to the door. Beth is having none of it at first, but begins to reconsider when Charlie bursts in.
He manages to talk Beth out of it, mainly because Tru's had the drop on them all day, and she drops the gun. Just then, more officers arrive, and arrest the pair. Turns out that they received a 911 call from the morgue.
And that's all I have. Essentially this episode is pretty straightforward, with no signs of any major twists. No info on Jack (Jason Priestley's character) , and much of what Michelle (the reporter) is after is still unknown. I can only presume she must dig up some dirt on Tru's activities, or perhaps her past. Hopefully more will surface before the episodes air. « hide more

Tru Calling - Daddy's Girls
Tru, Harrison, and Meredith are having breakfast. Meredith has gotten them all together to talk about their father's upcoming birthday. She has asked them all there at the request of Jordan, their step-mother. Jordan comes in and sits down, explaining that she wants to do something for their father's (Richard) birthday. She wants the entire family together to celebrate.
Both Jordan and her father are staying at a nearby hotel, and would like everyone to get together this evening. Tru isn't happy, especially since Jordan and Meredith are so chummy. Jordan begs Tru to come, but she just gets up and leaves.
(gap)
Later in the day, Tru, Meredith, and Jordan go shopping for a cake. Tru is trying to get info out of Jordan (note: there is a repeat day in this episode, and apparently Jordan was attacked by a mugger and killed). Tru doesn't know how much she'll be, as she really doesn't know her father as well. Jordan admits that neither does she. She might love and understand him, but he doesn't let her know him. Her mother, Elise, may have been the only one to know her father completely.
Meanwhile, Davis is interviewing a new character Jack, about a position in the morgue. In the first run through the day, something didn't go too well. Tru has passed that info along to Davis. Davis asks why he wants to work there, rather than saving lives. He also questions his previous work history.
(gap)
Later, Harrison is talking with Davis about Tru's powers. Davis realizes that Harrison is trying to find out if their mother's powers may have caused her death. (note: unclear when the characters make the connection, Tru does seem to only come to this conclusion later in this episode).
Elsewhere, Tru and Jordan are walking through the park. Tru is looking out for a sign of Jordan's attacker. Tru tries to convince Jordan that they shouldn't be cutting through the park to a drugstore, but Jordan is just happy that Tru is spending the day with her. She's not sure why Tru is being so nice, but she's not going to pass up the chance. She also talks about how the only time Richard and her fight, is about his relationship with his children. Jordan thinks he feels guilty about what happened after Elise was killed.
Jordan continues, just as Tru spots a suspicious man (we will later know him as Carl). He moves in to attack Jordan with a knife, but Tru pushes Jordan aside and disarms him. He knocks her to the ground, and she grabs his knife and holds him off as Jordan runs away. The man looks at her and smiles, then runs off.
(gap)
Tru and her father are talking about saving Jordan during the mugging. Tru admits that Jordan is nice, and her father is happy that Tru doesn't blame her for breaking apart his marriage. Tru says he's wrong, there is a difference between saving someone and forgiving them for the past.
Her father thinks she can do this, if she knows more about her past. He goes on to explain that he met Jordan when he was still married to her mother. He and Elise had already decided to get a divorce, when she was murdered. Tru is shocked at this turn of events.
It gets even stranger when her father explains that one of the reasons they decided to divorce, was the strange hours and behavior Elise was keeping. As if she had a secret life. Tru realizes that her mother had the same abilities to go back in time and save people. Her father hopes that she'll come to the party that night.
Back at Tru's apartment later, Harrison is talking about how Tru saved the 'wicked stepmother'. Tru defends Jordan, thinking they may have misjudged her. Especially in light that her mother also relived days and that their parents were already set on a divorce.
(gap)
That evening at the party, Tru realizes the man who attacked Jordan is there. She tells her father and he goes to call the police. Tru tries to find him in the room, and she sees him go into the kitchen. She follows, and bumps right into him. She confronts him about the attack, and he tells her to go ask her father. He laughs because she has no idea that there is a connection between the two.
Tru suddenly has a flashback to when her mother was killed. She recognizes the voice of the man, demanding Tru's mother to tell her where her daughter was. Tru was hiding in the closet when this happened, so she could only hear him. Tru says aloud that he killed her, and he runs off. She's about to follow when Harrison comes in.
(gap)
Tru confronts her father, because of his relationship with the attacker (Carl). She explains that he killed her mother, in order to exact revenge on him. Her father tries to deny this, but Tru says that she was there. She heard him. Her father explains it can't be true, he had him investigated even after the police ruled him out as a suspect. Nobody could pin it on him, he had a solid alibi.
Since Tru only heard him, and didn't see him, her father questions her memory. Tru has to be mistaken, because Carl could not have killed her mother. Tru has to leave, it's time to go to work, but she has a lot to think about.
Later that night in the morgue, Davis suggests she goes home and rests. She's had a rocky few days... Tru asks Davis is he thinks that her mother may have died, because of her calling. Davis doesn't know the answers to that question, but he promises her that he'll help find them.

At this point, Carl has attacked Tru in her apartment. Somehow his foot is injured, but he escapes.
Her father makes sure that she's okay, then goes to pursue Carl. Tru tries to stop him, as Carl will certainly kill him. Her father isn't worried, as he's brought a gun and wants to end this. Tru tries to stop him, but he goes out after Carl. He follows him into an alley, and because Carl can't run, is able to tackle him. Richard yells at him, asking him who he thinks he is. Carl simply states that he's never changed, he's the same man Richard paid to kill his wife ten years ago.
Richard doesn't deny this, but can't understand why Carl is blackmailing his family now. They had a deal and Carl broke it. So it's time for Carl to die. Tru arrives, just as her father is about to shoot Carl. He tells Tru to leave, and she runs back out of alley and hears a gunshot behind her.
Back in the alley, Richard tells Carl that this is just a warning shot. The next one won't be. Carl is fine with that, as long as Richard pays him. Richard agrees to do this, and lets Carl go. Richard than leaves the alley, and into the arms of a waiting Tru. Tru is so happy that he's alive, and apologizes for everything. Her father tells her that it's finally over. Wow, it's a story arc, and one well worth the wait. From everything that I can see, this is not something that will be resolved during this episode. Not only do we have the tie-in with Tru and her mother, but we also have the father's dark secret. Why did he want Elise killed, why did he hire someone to do this. More interestingly, was Tru the original victim. Did her mother repeat the day and save her.
I also like the fact that they are portraying Jordan as a very sympathetic character, and while it might be a bit predictable, I like the fact that in order to save Jordan, Tru has to get to know her better. Personally, if I was Fox, I would get this one filmed as quickly as possible and move it up in the order of things. I would like to see this one kick off Sweeps, rather than running through the formulaic string of episodes running up to this one. « hide more

TC: Casting/Episode Info
Chris Faile at FilmJerk.com has posted early casting information for the 14th episode of 'Tru Calling'. It will introduce both Tru's father and her stepmother, Jordan. As mentioned in an earlier article, it may also introduce us to the man who killed Tru's mother. Note: There are some discrepancies with the episode number in casting versus the actual episode). The episode numbering scheme I use on the site, counts the Pilot as Episode 1. In industry terms, the first episode after the Pilot is usually listed as Episode 101.
Chris also passed on a bit of info on Episode 13, 'Drop Dead Gorgeous'. It will be written by Ion Harmon Feldman and directed by R.W. Goodwin.

TC: 'Daddy's Girls' Summary
This represents a brief summary of Tru Calling: Daddy's Girls (Episode 14). It will be updated as new articles or info is posted. More detailed and complete information can be found in the original articles or additional sources.
The episode involves the introduction of Tru's father, Richard, and her stepmother Jordan. They are in town, and Jordan wants the whole family together to celebrate Richard's birthday. Tru wants none of this, until Jordan is found dead in a park later that day. The day resets.
Tru spends the day with Jordan to keep her safe. She begins to actually not hate her so much, and is key in stopping a mugger from killing her in the park. The mugger, Carl, shows up later in the episode at the party. He insinuates that her father knows what this is about. Tru also realizes that this is the same man who killed her mother.
He gets away again, and Tru has to talk to her father about this. He denies that Carl could have been involved, as he had him thoroughly checked out, even after the police cleared him. It's also revealed that Tru's mother had her powers, and Tru seems to have inherited them from her.
Later, Carl attacks Tru in her apartment. Her father arrives to save her, and then chases Carl into a nearby alley. Out of Tru's sight, the truth is revealed. Richard hired Carl to kill Tru's mother, that's why he attacked Jordan, Richard hasn't been paying him to stay quiet. Richard pretends to shoot Carl, and comforts Tru at the end of the episode while Carl vanishes into the night.
Also in this episode, we are introduced to a new character, Jack. He's joining the staff at the morgue, and will be played by Jason Priestley (Beverly Hills 90210)

TC: Episode 13 Spoilers
Episode 13 of Tru and Angel within a single day, good week for spoilers. The episode itself is pretty straight-forward, fitting the typical pattern of show. Next episode we should see, should be one of the new episodes from the additional seven that were ordered. I will note, that just as with Episode Eight, Episode Twelve seems to be missing.

Tru Calling 13: Drop Dead Gorgeous
Very little for the early bits of the episode. The info I have starts about halfway into it, but I can pass along some things that should happen during the first half.
Tru is called to a beauty pageant that Lindsay has helped put together, for a cosmetic company. One of the contestants, Jackie, was found dead in a dressing room. Harrison happened to be one of the judges, along with the president of the company and his wife (Julian and Adrian Barnes).
Tru discovers that Jackie was killed with poison in the make-up she used. In addition, a reporter (Michelle) tries to talk to Tru during the first half of the episode. In the repeat day, one of the other contestants has dropped out. My info begins as Tru arrives to be a replacement.
Lindsay walks Tru into the pageant, telling the stage manager that she's the replacement. Everything is last minute, so Tru doesn't even have an evening gown. Jackie arrives on scene, offering to loan Tru a dress. Tru and Jackie hit if off, until another contestant (Alex) shows up and snarks at Tru. After she leaves, Jackie explains that Alex is always that way. Jackie's different, she's not really into the pageant scene, her students asked her to do it. That's right, she's a elementary school teacher.
Meanwhile, at the judging table, Harrison is sitting with Julian and his wife Adrian. Alex comes out and does her runway walk. Backstage, Tru is about to tell Jackie what is about to happen. But as they enter a dressing room, Jackie discovers that her ex-boyfriend, Tyler, is waiting for her. Jackie is not happy to see him, which raises Tru's suspicions.
After she broke up with Tyler, she moved to New York to get some space. A lot of space since she used to live in the Midwest. Tru wants to know if she should get security, and Jackie asks her to do that. Tyler gets upset and says he'll show himself out.
Back at the judging table, Julian pulls Lindsay aside. He's realized that Harrison is Tru's brother, so he needs Lindsay to fire him because it could compromise his judgment.
At the morgue, Davis is in his office working. Michelle, the reporter who called Tru earlier, comes in looking for Tru. She's attractive, and Davis is more than willing to help her. Michelle lies and says that she's there to pick up a death certificate for a relative.

Back at the pageant, Tru talks to Alex about why she hates Jackie so much. Jackie says that it's only because she has to beat Jackie. It will start her road to stardom, and Tru should keep her mouth shut, seeing as her best friend Lindsay got her into the show. Alex leaves as Jackie finishes her runway walk. Tru tries to convince her that they should just drop out and go for some pizza. Jackie turns her down

At the pageant, the host is interviewing Tru, talking about her job. Jackie cheers from the sidelines, and Tru is concerned when the stage manager approaches and Jackie goes backstage.
We follow Jackie backstage, where she hears voices coming from a dressing room. As she peers into the room. Alex is there getting ready for her appearance, while Julian Barnes is demanding she give him the movie. Alex is not flustered, even when he grabs her arm. She will turn over the sex tape as long as she wins.
Jackie closes the door, just as the stage manager tells her it's time to go on.

Tru talks to Jackie about what happened on stage. Jackie says she's leaving, since it's all rigged anyway. Jackie reveals that Alex has a tape of one of the judges, and that she's blackmailing him to win the competition. She realizes that her mascara has run (she was crying earlier), and she gets some makeup remover. She doesn't want Tyler to back out of his proposal (I think he proposed in one of the missing bits).
(gap)
The host announces that the winner of the competition is... Alex. Alex pretends to be surprised as the takes in the adoration of the audience. Julian is about to go out to her, when Tru confronts him. He thinks she's upset because she didn't win, but instead Tru pulls out a video tape. She threatens to turn if over to the news crew that is covering the pageant. Julian thinks that she's after money, but all Tru wants to do is to turn himself in for poisoning the make-up.
When Julian appears to be confused, Tru realizes that she is wrong. Julian isn't the killer, because his motive for killing her was to keep her from winning the pageant. It turns out that the real killer as Adrian.
Not really much to add about this one. « hide more

TC: Episode Summaries
Pandora at Mythical-Boards has posted several summaries for upcoming 'Tru Calling' episodes. Besides 'Haunted' and 'Star Crossed', she has posted one for an episode titled, 'Morning After'. She is listing this as episode six, which would actually make it Episode 7. According to my information, Seven should have 'Closure' (the one where she tries to save the sick soldier). Could this be the missing episode that existed between 'Closure' and 'Murder In The Morgue'. The episode itself deals with Tru thinking that she's killed someone who she used to be very close to.

A little bit of Episode 11 has surfaced (though with 'Tru Callings' jumping episodes and the fact that this info came out after Episode 12's, I can't be certain). If you ever had any doubts that the show was borrowing a bit from 'Run, Lola, Run' or 'Groundhog Day', this will pretty much erase them.

Tru Calling: The Longest Day (1.11)
In this episode, Tru has to save the life of a father who it seems is killed while robbing a drug store. The father, Michael, is desperately trying to get enough money to buy medicine for his daughter (Elizabeth). She has been ill for a year, and by this time, is in desperate need of a heart transplant.
Tru relives this day multiple times, having been unable to find the correct combination of events to save him. In the bit I have, it's the 3rd repeat of the day, and Tru is posing as a social worker at the office that Michael goes to for assistance since he lost his job.
Tru follows him to the store, and tries reason with him, finally offering to get the drugs for him. Not a lot to go on, but seems that there isn't much in the way of extra story since she has to keep running through the same day. One theory I will toss out, if only because for some strange reason this episode reminded me of an old 'Cupid' episode, "Heart Of The Matter". In that episode, Cupid (Jeremy Piven) find what he thinks is the perfect match, between a young man and woman. The woman is also about to die because she's in desperate need of a heart transplant. Turns out, in a Twilight Zone-ish way, that when the young man dies, he is the perfect match.
Seeing that the daughter has the same problem (the lack of a donor), one has to wonder if Tru isn't supposed to stop the man from being killed, but insuring that he doesn't die from being shot in the heart. So that he can be a donor for his daughter.
Of course, I have nothing to back that up, but what would 'Tru Calling' be without a plot-twist or two. « hide more
