WF: Encore And Spoilers

The Futon Critic is reporting that Fox will show the first episode of 'Wonderfalls' again, this Thursday night following 'Tru Calling'.

In other 'Wonderfalls' news, I do have more detailed spoilers to pass along, just haven't got the time to collate and get them out. I will try to get to that in the next few days. However, I just heard of a new 'Wonderfalls' spoiler site, which not only has info on the episodes that I've heard about, but a few that I have not. So if you want an early peek, check out 'Surrender To Destiny'

WF: Three Episode Summaries

PersephoneMoon, who singlehandedly spoiled the shock ending of Angel: Destiny only hours before it aired, has passed along some info on 'Wonderfalls'. I was originally going to post the info here, but sadly my non-Spoiler existence has been so busy, I wasn't able to find the time to get it edited and up (note: only a temporary lack of posting, unfortunately I don't do spoilers for a living, so sometimes my real life intrudes a bit into my spoiler time).

However, she has posted even more complete, and detailed summaries for three 'Wonderfalls' episodes on her site. All of which I'm linking here. Normally, I would try to bullet point the highlights, but again because of the above I'm going to have beg off. There will be a major Spoiler ranking/page update on Friday for 'Wonderfalls', so I'll probably have the standard 'Brief Summary and Links' up then.

PersephoneMoon's Summaries

'Karma Chameleon'

'Lovesick Ass'

'Muffin Buffalo'

I can't describe how excited am I about this show. With 'Angel' heading into the sunset and with 'Dead Like Me' Season Two still months away, I was wondering if I would find a show that could fill in the gap. This show does all that and more, none of the reports you've heard are wrong. This is The Best New Show Of The Season. I know most of you have been working hard at finding ways to save 'Angel', but let's also try to encourage the networks to keep trying new and inventive series. 'Wonderfalls' is what 'Buffy' was over 8 years ago, this is our chance to get a new show off to a good start. Plus, as a series, it has a connection to both 'Angel' and 'Dead Like Me', with Tim Minear and Bryan Fuller working together on this series.

I'd like to ask a favor. If you are a fan of this site, and you live in United States, set some time aside next Friday to watch the premiere of 'Wonderfalls'. I promise, it will be time well spent.

WF: Episode Info - Part Two

This is the second part of the information that I've managed to scrounge up for 'Wonderfalls'. It encompasses a number of episodes, and the details are sparse. Which is expected for a show that hasn't yet aired.

WF: Episode Info - Part One

I've gotten some more info on 'Wonderfalls', which I'll pass along over the next few days. I'm not sure which order these episodes will air, and a lot of the information is sketchy at this time. Fox has ordered a full 13 episodes, but they've only committed to air 7, so I can't even guarantee that these will make it to air.

But from what I've been seeing, this is going to be one great show. It deserves to make it.

WF: Wonderfalls Pilot Summary

The question many of you may be asking, is what exactly 'Wonderfalls' about. Here's Fox's official description.

"Wonderfalls is a funny, provocative and magical one-hour dramedy about Jaye Tyler, set against the backdrop of Niagara Falls. Jaye is an underachieving twenty-something souvenir shop worker whose life is forever changed after she has what her family calls "an episode." That's when inanimate objects - toys, cartoon images, anything in the form of an animal - begin talking to her, providing her with cryptic messages that invariably lead her into the lives of others in need. Jaye meddles in, muddles up, and ultimately betters the lives of herself, her eccentric family of overachievers, and the eclectic variety of strangers that cross her path. Jaye discovers that the world around her really is a magical place...even if she fears that listening to inanimate objects means she is slowly losing her grip on sanity."

Now, if you would like a few more details, read on for a complete summary of the pilot episode of 'Wonderfalls'. There is no guarantee that this will be the actual first episode that we will see, or if it is, that there will not be major changes made (ala 'Tru Calling'). But it does give a fair representation of what the show will be like.
