Site News: No More Tru Calling
Well, it seems that after years of not having an issue with Fox, they finally decided that they have had enough of me. Sitting on my doorstep this afternoon, in a DHL courier envelope, was a brief two-page letter from the Fox legal department. Fox is requesting that while it's okay to keep up the Buffy/Angel archives, I must immediately remove any and all Tru Calling spoilers/summaries and links.
Before, I might have tried to fight it. But to be honest, I was on the fence about covering 'Tru Calling' as it is. If Fox feels that having less spoilers might improve the ratings for the show, more power to them. Effective immediately, the site will no longer cover 'Tru Calling'. I have also been requested to remove any and all images related to Buffy/Angel/Tru Calling that are used for 'commercial' purposes. Which means I have to remove the Spoiler Store and banner ads.
What does this mean for the site as a whole, I'm really not sure? One of the other shows I was thinking about covering was a Fox property, which pulls that out of the running. Of the others I was kicking around, one has yet to receive the greenlight and the other is going to be on a network that is infamous for canceling shows after a few episodes. While I don't want to end spoiling shows, if it means I'm going to be getting 'legal documents' on my doorstep on a regular basis, I have to be honest and say that it's not worth it. The site itself really has nothing left to prove, and if the networks feel that what I'm doing is detrimental to their shows, then why try to fight it.
In any event, with the last of the spoilers for 'Dead Like Me' coming in, I don't have to make a decision immediately. But I think it's safe to say that there will not be a lot of news over the next few weeks, while I try to figure things out.
In the meantime. I have done the best I could to remove any Season Two 'Tru Calling' spoilers and store links. Since the letter specifically mentioned Season Two spoilers, I have not removed the 'Tru Calling' entries for Season One. If you do run across any Season Two spoilers or broken links while surfing the site, please let me know so it can be corrected.
Thank You for all of your support and understanding!!!

Dead Like Me: Always (2.14)
Okay, got some info on the last two episodes of the season. In the 14th - 'Always', Rube finally finds the person who he was looking for and it is his daughter. There are some flashbacks and I think we find out how Rube died. All I know is that he leaves his family for some reason and he has a gun.
There is another reaper that works at the nursing home where Rosie is. Penny, the reaper, also knows Rube and why he's there. She ripples Rosie while Rube is talking to her, and she passes on while Rube is sitting with her.
Mason has turned into a wreck, he's bumming food off people and sleeping in the Der Waffle Haus. Even though the staff always seems to hate Mason, I guess they get together and give him some money to help him. George also decides to take him home to stay with her and Daisy, but Daisy isn't thrilled about this. I don't think anyone else knows what happened with them.
My friend also mentioned that the dog from last season, the one that her family had, dies. They have to go to a funeral parlor and get a coffin, and then they have a funeral for the dog. My friend didn't say if the pet reaper was involved.
They didn't say a lot about George, just something about her going through the old files at 'Happy Time' and finding her file from when she first went there.
Dead Like Me: All Saints (2.15)
For the last episode, it's going to be a Halloween one. They all have a list of very strange appointments, all that occur at 59 minutes past the hour. There is this serial killer that is stalking George's old neighborhood and is killing people every hour.
The killer is this creepy guy who goes around in white sneakers and strangles people as they answer the door. The reapers don't realize this until they all show up in the same neighborhood. I don't know if they figure out what is going on, I do know that Daisy goes out dressed as a cop and somebody recognizes her from her Hollywood days. Roxy ends up escorting a group of kids with Delores. Delores loves Halloween so I guess she chaperones kids every year. Some of the others discover a suburban brothel.
But while this is all happening, the killer is going about his rounds. Since this is where George used to live, I asked if someone in her family is killed, but my friend didn't know. She did tell me that George is the one with the post-it for the killer. When she was a kid, she ran into him on Halloween and saw a graveling in his house. He recognizes her when she knocks on his door, but she is so mad, when she reaps him she doesn't even wait to see how he dies.
The final bit of info is that Crystal is snooping around in the computer files, trying to pull up George's original 'Happy Time' records. From the looks of it, it does appear that the big season-arc finale will be resolved in Episode 14. The Halloween episode sounds more like a themed-episode that may not have much to do with setting up next season's arc. Then again, with such limited information, it's hard to say.
I don't know what has happened to Trip, the love interest that seemed to appear several episodes earlier. After George reaped his father, and the funeral in the following episode, there seems to be nothing else. Which is surprising, since it seemed so well setup for him to discover George's true identity.
Also not much on the Daisy/Mason storyline it seems in these episodes. Mason is now living with Daisy and George, so we may have to see how this plays out next Season. « hide more

Buffyverse Movies?
I had several people email reports that while doing an interview in Australia, James Marsters mentioned that Joss approached him about returning to the Buffyverse. Hercules at AICN also reported on this story. According to his comments, it could be as many as four made-for-television movies. Each would focus on a different character, and it's safe to assume that one of those would be Spike. If I had to guess, I would think Willow, Illyria, and Giles would be the others. Giles would make the most sense, as at least a partial story for 'Ripper' already exists.
In somewhat unrelated Anthony Stewart Head news, he has signed to join the cast of 'Monarch of the Glen'. Some may recall that I have mentioned this series in the past, and while I personally feel that the show is not worth watching past Season Two, with both Anthony and Tom Baker ('Doctor Who') on the cast I may have to start again.

DLM: Episode 12 and 13 Information
The emails from 'DeadGirlWalking' have been sporadic lately, but she did just write with new information on 'Dead Like Me' episodes 12 ('Forget Me Not') and 13 ('Last Call'). I can also add that the title of the 14th episode will be 'Always'.

Dead Like Me: Forget Me Not (2.12)
Going to have to apologize again for the delay in getting you this info, my friend is getting real tough about giving me the goods. I have this feeling she's keeping something big from me, but I have no clue what.
I do know that in Episode 12 we meet this new reaper, she's a nurse named Maya. I guess there are these different gigs a reaper can get, and she's one of those who reaps the people who die of natural causes. Rube takes George to the hospital to reap a woman with Alzheimer's, and this is where George meets Maya. George runs into problems because after she dies, the woman still doesn't realize that she's dead (she forgot already). Rube in the meantime wants to get more information from Maya on this woman that he's been trying to find, and although she didn't tell me this, I'm almost certain it's his daughter.
Daisy has a boyfriend, or is seeing that guy who was doing the reality show. This makes Mason really jealous, and when Mason and Daisy go to a boxing place to reap someone, her boyfriend and Mason fight over Daisy. I guess Mason gets knocked out or something like that, but then something unexpected happens. Daisy and Mason sleep together it seems.
George has to go to her sister's school, I think that Reggie is dating the guy who brought the Komodo Dragon to class earlier in the season, and he's in this spelling bee. The father of another kid gets really mad at the judge and throws a dictionary at him, which kills him. The guy Reggie is seeing wins.
Dead Like Me: Last Call (2.13)
I've got barely anything for this one, just that the gang has to reap a busload of sports fans and George reaps this young military academy cadet. She's around George's age, and dies really stupidly while trying to prove herself to the male cadets. Very interesting spoilers, especially in regards to both Rube and Daisy/Mason. I believe that what we are seeing is George's influence on the others. Still no word on Trip, perhaps that is the big secret that her friend is not mentioning. Also very little Happy Time info, perhaps these stories are taking a back seat while we focus on the Reapers themselves. By my count, there are only one or two episodes left in this season, so it will be interesting to see how this all turns out.
